I'm in!!! wee.gif I wasn't sure I would be able to track down Silkie eggs in time but I have. Set 28 Silkies - a few hours late - but they're in. jumpy.gif

I just can't take my eyes off this picture--the colors!!   Then I realize these are the same colors I used to paint the interior of my house!!love.gif ONe color per room of course.

Finally the thread has begun to slow a little... I was getting a head ache.....

Keeper of 26 hens,  4 PW Leghorns, 1 leghorn mix, 1 FBCMarans, 1 Australorp, 1 Buff Orpington, 2 Mama Olive Eggers w/ 15 chicks each, 1 EE, a Barred Rock, a RIR, a CQ, 1 Delaware, 1 Black Star, a Splash Ameraucana, 3 W/BW Ameraucana pullets, 5 polish, 2 Welsummers and 41 juvies of various breeds. YIKES!  Time to SELL some chickens!

 LMBO yes they did or I would have had more than six openings.  I can't complain, I was PLANNING on only setting 24.  See, so I did give in to the pressure! wink.png

Oh I forgot to mention hubby and the boys moved their old fort from the back 40 to the coops today. I'm going to get a new coop! Now to figure out how to make that big ugly thing cute.

With gazillions of different eggs all in one bator, how do you tell who is who when they hatch hu.gif I am thinking I need to separate mine, and I think it was Java Girl who referred to hatching baskets a while back. Got pictures? 

 

We've got three weeks to kill pop.gif  so talk to me peeps, how do YOU do it?
