But I suppose everyone's experience varies.
Good luck with your hatch,

Woohoo I received my brinsea spot check thermometer in the mail today. And here's another plug for them. They sent it priority and insured it. Pretty impressive considering it's only a thermometer. They must have sensed I needed it ASAP.

The last dozen eggs were at the post office; I picked them up on my lunch break. I figure they "rested" there over the weekend, so I cam set them the moment I get home tonight!

So, I've got Iowa Blues, Iowa Blue mixes, 15 Icelandics, and a slew of other folks' EEs. Always nice to get new stock/bloodlines, even in mixed breeds.

So I'll fill out my info with 46 eggs. smile.png

Things aren't looking good for my neighbor's eggs. I got curious since I know there is at least 1 messed up aircell and candled a few more of his eggs. I just had to fix one that had cracks in it that I didn't notice before. I'm going to have to candle all 29 of his eggs. th.gif

Chickens: 4 RIR, 1 HRIR roo, 1 BA hen, 13 AGF, 2 BA/RIR, 1 EE. Ducks: 1 Mallard drake and 8 little Coturnix quail. Everything else: 6 dogs, 6 cats, a pot bellied pig and one stubborn Mustang that rules the field!

Living happily with Blu and our son on the way.

RIP Ducky and Bob
