I did not. I also missed the Ostrich Festival in Chandler.

Sigh. Next year.

When I was in Puerto Rico a few years ago we went up to the rain forest.  The ranger told us to be especially cautious if we saw a red flag tied near the trail, as that indicated a nearby rabid mongoose hmm.png .  Kind of ruined the whole hiking exerience for me.

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Actually, I was just posting my opinion, same as most everyone on the internet.  If you read it as sarcastic and snotty, then I guess it's hard to ascertain tone from the written word (the reason I added the winky face).

I didn't mean for you to feel attacked.  If you did, I apologize.

I rarely feel attacked on the internet.  It's too impersonal of a place for that for the most part.  Many people feel they can say anything behind the screen of their computer.  I don't really bother.  If I do feel like being snarky with someone, I just keep my opinion to myself 99 times out of a 100.  It's just not worth it to me to be involved in drama.  I enjoy this board too much to get embroiled in problems or catty with someone.

Now, what I say outloud to my DH about what I read, that might be a whole different thing wink.png

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

I moved the emus out into the storage garage today. Their poop stinks too much to stay inside. And they poop alot....  This is my make shift pen for them for now. Newspaper on the floor and bedding on top of that. It is about 10 feet long x 3 feet wide. Good enough. smiley.gif   If it would ever stop raining, I would like to get them outside.

Oh, but wait, I don't have their new home built yet. duh-1.gif

Very nice brooder area moma Kathy. I was thinking about the poop situation. I have a tub inside and it's starting to get to the point I need to clean it. I was talking to the babies and asked them if they yhough they were Emus or something.
