The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

When folks exchanged hand-made items, the trade was more equal.  My grandmother did tatting and it looked quite complicated.  I learned how to knit & crochet, embroider, and quilt when I was a kid and still take lots of pleasure in making things, even if I don't do as much of it as it used to.  Nowadays, most purchased handcrafted items were made by folks in sweatshops in "Third World" and "underdeveloped" countries.  Sad.

I know, people just don't get it.  I tat (hand made lace) and a few other hobbies that take hours!!!!!  People will look at something and say...........Oooh, would you make one for me?................If they're feeling really generous they might offer to buy the thread.  What about the 100+ hours of my time?

For the sake of conformity, Let's call this "Day 7" as of 12:00 noon (Day 6 in the morning.)  That is counting Saturday March 17th at 12:00 noon (when you were supposed to have set, Mahonri wink.png) as Day 0, Sunday at 12 as Day 1, Monday @12 = Day 2, Tuesday @ 12 = Day 3, Wednesday = Day 4, Thursday  = Day 5, Friday = Day 6 and Today, at noon, starts Day 7.

So, right now we are winding up Day 6 and looking at Day 7 in a couple of hours.  Agreed?

Agreed!

Congratulations!!!!!!

And wow, that's almost four times the set rate from the NYD hatch.  Maybe people aren't afraid to have all these chicks in the house with the weather being better.

Boy was I off th.gif

I've got more than my share on my hands.  I had 25 chicks in my brooder, I bought 25 chicks each from two different sources, I have 6 chicks due to hatch on Monday, I have 49 eggs in the Easter hatch and 31 more eggs set for a week after that.  Apparently I wasn't afraid of having too many chicks around  he.gif But I'm starting to get afraid!

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.
