I didn't put a picture of my bator and eggs on here that I set when I set them and I see others are doing that now too so here is mine.  I have already candled and removed 4 eggs that were clear.  Three where my sister in laws and 1 mine.  Most of my eggs I can't see into.  They are EEs and dark browns.   So I just left them.  I candled just now her white egg that I could see veins in at the first candle and could see movement.  Gives me hope for mine too.  I will not candle any more because it is useless.  Just hope for the best.  She had 15 to start and I had 14  now she has 12 eggs in and I have 13.  That doesn't mean all a good because she has some that I can't see through either.  I have ee's and red and black sex link ee cross eggs.  She has a mixed lot of ee's and light bramas, maybe turken, and some other brown egg layers with various roosters.  Even some Banty roosters.  It will be interesting to see her mix.  I will be putting up a short wall between the eggs at lock down to keep them separate.  Hope they don't jump the wall. yippiechickie.gif

My computer wont read my camera card right now so will try to get it off after I turn off and try again.

Congrats to all the new winners! I see some familiar "faces" in that list and know you're well deserving of the badge!

I just wanted to say that Mary (NotAFarm) is the nicest person. It was nice meeting her and her husband today. And the Icelandics look even better in person than in pictures Dreki is amazing.

Our first matter of business, as we begin our 2nd year, is to announce a new Award. Well, not quite so new, but new as an Award that you can now nominate members for - the BYC GREETER Award:

BYC GREETER - These individuals are our BYC "Welcome Wagon"! They are the members that are most active in welcoming the new members to our community, especially in the "New Member Introductions" forum. Nominees will be judged on 1) How long they've been welcoming new members; 2) How many new members they welcome; and 3) The quality and friendliness of their welcome.

With the addition of a 4th Award starting in April, this means that you may now make up to four (4) nominations per month, but you are still limited to just one nomination per award category per month.

Our second matter of business is, of course, to proudly announce your newest Awardees - they've just blown in with the March Winds:
