Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long! - Page 869

Kellyn, I have awesome intentions for an incubator, but I just haven't put it together yet, so I'm out. It seems like there was another entry, but I don't remember who.

I need to go to the feed store to pick up more food and shavings, but I'm scared to go- I'm afraid I won't leave without a chick.

Hatch Cam goes live approx 5/21. Hatching 7 legbars http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wendywr1

I have 25ish chickens, including legbars, coronation sussex, FBCM, polish, ameraucanas, EE and OE

Whoo finally caught up! I was away all weekend and most of last Thursday and Friday. I had a crazy week last week; 3 exams and a 6 page paper due tomorrow (which I am taking a break from right now hide.gif). However, I candled a few of my eggs last night and they ALL HAVE DEVELOPMENT!! celebrate.gifI'm really excited!

So, I am a junior in college but I live at home because it is A LOT cheaper and school is only 35 minutes away from my house. I have a 12 year old sister who I think I may have dragged over to the dark side... Yesterday, she was asking me when the eggs were due to hatch and I told her this Saturday. She looked aghast and immediately ran to my Dad and said "DAD I am not going to Alexis' (her friend) sleepover party this weekend, the chicks are going to hatch!!" th.gifI couldn't believe it... I actually felt a little sheepish when my Dad said "It's your fault you know." Oh well... at least the chickens are cute! big_smile.png

A wise man once told me that duct tape can be used to fix anything. Well, it doesn't work on mufflers.

She is really a mess! She has been sitting much too long. I tried (unsuccessfully) to break her. She just wouldn't quit. I will be happy when this hatch is over, so she can take care of herself better.
