Never made it past 37 weeks, and that was tooooo long. And I had to tell the nurse to catch both times...docs running in with gowns hanging from elbows...why don't they ever believe the fat lady?

One of the four pipped is a Peachick sumatra!

Another one is a Renee, small dark layer. (so all I'm hatching from her eggs is two... hit.gif)

Another is a sulmtaler, #4 is a Drekki Icelandic and the last is a large Audin Icelandic.

Makes me feel badly about the brinsea... sad, but the hovabator and all it's high temps did better!

You are an impatient man. They are doing what they're supposed to do, not wearing stopwatches! The little ones you've hatched are always the first to go in my incubators. Give them time.

What she said!

I pull these and lay them down, pip up. put a hot wet paper towel in when you do it and your humidity will recover right away.

There used to be a mean little boy that lived here in the court .  5 years old or so.   Many times I caught him throwing rocks at my stallion.  Went down to his mother and asked her to keep him home and the reason why (  He was throwing rocks at my horses.)  Her reply was not my little boy he wouldn't beside he never goes down there.   OK I thought.

I I had put a hot wire about 18  inch off the ground around the bottom of the fence to keep dogs out of pen.  I saw the little monster out by the pen. He was in that man stand of going to go pee.  I stayed in the house and watched him pee on the hot wire.   He let out a scream took off running and crying like someone killed him.   I about dead laughing.   His mother was down here in minutes  madder than an hornet.  I am still laughing.  I just replied your  son does come down here....

I have 3 pips!!!  1 Araucana and 2 Nankin!  ya.gifya.gifya.gif   Now I have to go to work.  sad.png  But hopefully for only a half day!   lol.png

By the way, I locked down on Weds. night:    11 of 16 Araucanas,  8 of 9 Nankin and 2 of 3 pheasant (which won't hatch untill Mon. or Tues.)  celebrate.gif  So 21 of 28 isn't too bad, considering they're all shipped eggs except the pheasant, and those were the very first 3 laid this year!

Wife of 1, mother of 2, grandmother of 3, surrogate mom of 3 horses, 3 (large) dogs, 2 cats, 29 pheasants and too many chickens (of various ages, breeds and sexes), and I am hatching more.
