How I remember it is, visualize the process of fertilizing the egg, rooster over hen.  Keeps it simple and easy to remember.

Two more chicks out! A meat cross/Buff orp mix and a Americauna/Buff Orp mix. Takes me total up to 4 out of 26 hatched so far.

Ohhhh My Goodnesss celebrate.gifwee.gifbun.gif I went into my guest room this morning to turn an incubator of eggs that are some of the last I have in my old incubators and there are my Easter Egglings pipping like crazy celebrate.gifwee.gifya.gifclap.gif!!!! I have Massive pipping going on jumpy.gifjumpy.gifjumpy.gifjumpy.gif woot.gif!!!! They are ready to come out and play Yeahhhhhhhhh wee.gifcelebrate.gifcelebrate.gif

Attention wolftracks!!!! I have a chick and it came from a purple egg! Only thing I have at the moment so hoping I didn't fry all it's siblings! But now that I have 1 I don't feel as if all is lost.

Have a whole bunch of pips now, basques and some frizzle bantam cochins from chookschics. Wrong end pip still not moving along.
