Ugg I can't seem to post from the computer today. I'll try the phone, but no pics. Got home to a bunch of pips and the first one popped at 10 pm! It's a Dreki baby! Woke up this morning to an instant Icelandic flock. 18 and counting!

   Merry Christmas everyone!   Here is DH shoveling a path to my coops..looks like one of the girls is thinking maybe he's shoveling for her!   001.JPG

I HEAR CHIRPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother of 3 wonderful children twin girls and a son. We own 3 dogs and 23 chickens. We have an assortment of different breeds of chickens we have, RIR, BR, RSL, BSL, Aouthlorp, Americaunas, Easter Eggers, game hen, silver spangled hamburgs, silver laced (something not sure of bread has feathers on feet )  i hope i did not miss any.   We Have 2 coops that is 10ft by 8 ft and each has a run that...

One of the four pipped is a Peachick sumatra!

Another one is a Renee, small dark layer. (so all I'm hatching from her eggs is two... hit.gif)

Another is a sulmtaler, #4 is a Drekki Icelandic and the last is a large Audin Icelandic.

 

Makes me feel badly about the brinsea... sad, but the hovabator and all it's high temps did better!


Tried the Brinsea, didn't like it, sold it..love the hova!    Sorry to those that love your brinsea.. hide.gif

Oh my Goodness!!  what a thing to wake up to.  We had a hail storm that left the ground looking like snow but only lasted a day and night.    Do you live in the mountains?

Thought I would add another one of our apple tree out front..I love it with snow on it.  The sun is out now, so all that 5 or 6 inches of snow will be gone soon.   Utah weather!  I know Mahonri misses it.  lau.gifgig.gif005.JPG

 mb..we don't live in the mountains, but we live close to a canyon.  Still, all of our little town got dumped on.  Sure is pretty.
