It's not my computer.  Lot's of people have been reporting trouble since Thursday.  Most people aren't having trouble.  I've seen this before on other forums, I've never been one of the affected people before and now I can see how frustrating it is.

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

Well, I have another chick out! It's such a cute little bugger too. It reminds me of an OEGB.

Wisher, I'm glad the problem was sorted out and you can post now!

Chickens: 4 RIR, 1 HRIR roo, 1 BA hen, 13 AGF, 2 BA/RIR. Ducks: 1 Mallard drake and 4 little Coturnix quail. Everything else: 6 dogs, 6 cats, a pot bellied pig and one stubborn Mustang that rules the field!

Living happily with Blu and our son on the way.

RIP Ducky and Bo4

That has to be frustrating, and many usually posting seem to be missing today, so I'm guessing it is a wide spread problem.

Still no pips.  I couldn't have killed them all.....  by NOT candling them, right?  wink.png

My hatch date is tomorrow, and I have often had late hatches anyway.  I know the temperature in the "office/Nursery/Incubation/Guest" room isn't stable, and we did have some pretty cold snaps.  Plus I go in and out my new door onto the deck fairly often.  Whatever.

Buncha Outdoor PET chickens, ducks, two Toulouse ganders, and four turkeys. Plus 2 wiener dogs, some bunnies and a rescue cat which owns me. Oh. And a house silkie....

fl.gif for you. My hatch is over. 2 dead in the shell (one was my iowa blue from Jim sad.png), 23 hatched and alive. Had to help the last one out just now.

Then I get to clean the bator and shove turkeys in it!!! WAHOOO!

Don't forget to check out post #1 and the contest page. There's still some contests open and a few new ones opened today.

When your hatch is COMPLETELY OVER fill out the FORM.  The number of eggs you set is the original amount in your incubator on day 1. The number of chicks hatched is obviously the number of alive chicks that came out of those eggs set on or around St. Patrick's Day.

Make sure to fill out the form when you're done with your hatch - remember that awesome prize of the Brinsea incubator? We need everyone who hatched to contribute with their numbers so we can award the person with the closest guess of HOW MANY CHICKS WILL WE HATCH ON EASTER with their new incubator!

It is a known issue and Nifty is working to try to get it fixed.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

9 seems to be my magic number lately.  My last 3 successful hatches have been 9 live chicks/keets.  Here are my Easter babies.DSCN0861.JPG
