Can my chickens eat hubbard squash?

I know that they can eat pumpkins and such but can they eat this type of squash?  I bought a huge one at the store the other day and was hoping they could.  I am also hoping it distracts them enough to stop pecking each other!  LOL  Thank you!

Mom to a 6 year old girl, a 5 year old boy, 3 Golden Comets and 2 NH Reds and 1 RIR and wife to a great man!  Oh yeah, let's not forget about our 2 cats, Fiona and Belle!    This is our 1st chicken experience EVER!
