What gender is my EE? - Page 3

Looks very similar to one of my EE boys as far as coloring goes, so I also say boy.

Looks like a roo. If we could see a strait on pic of the comb we could probably tell you for sure. Look and see how many rows you can see. If you see three it is definitely a boy.

Oops I see you posted about the comb. I guess I should read a whole post before posting.  lau.gif

Did you see the pic of the comb straight on? It only has 1 row of peas. What do you think?

Counting your peas before they lay or crow can be a dangerous thing.

1000% it's a cockerel. Pointy saddle and hackle feathers (they will probably be "shinier" than the other feathers) won't start showing up for a couple weeks yet, but that brick red on the wings is a dead giveaway.

The remaining 6 of my original 7 barred rocks are 3yrs old and happily divided between a friend and my mom.
Laying: 2 Partridge Rocks, 1 Columbian Wyandotte and 2 Black Australorps. 14 weeks: 3 bantam Araucana.
Cowed to chicken math and sharing my bedroom with 8 BBS Ameraucana mixes.

It's a cockerel

A Rottweiler (Roxy), a Labrador retriever (Gypsy), 2 breeding turkeys, 7 poults, 3 goats (Charlotte, Tata & Oreo), four ducks, 3 geckos and a yard full of chickens...

Going back home. No internet at the house, so I won't be online as much. Sorry for any RP inconveniences.
