:( the 3 barred rocks r pullets im sure. ill get u a pic if u like. these 2 reds/brown look nothing like the last to cokerals i just got rid of which were of the same age. these 2 dont crow or make any noise but the redder 1 is a little more aggressive than the rest but is that the rhode island red in it? and it has bigger feet than the rest. so i suppose i should wait a little longer then

My sister in law has some rir and by looking at their combs i would swear they are roos but they are definatly hens s maybe they just have big combs naturally. If they are not crowing yet they prob are females. Yea the one that is kinda mean may just be the dominant female, i have some like that. I would def wait a little while longer so you dont eat one of your girls :)

with the rir (the one that took the longest to look like a cockerel) i would wait till you start to see cockerel hackle and/or saddle feathers on it or even on both of them. the barred ones arent pure barred rocks as they have some gold leakage around their hackles...some pullets/hens do crow
