?'s about easter eggers or ameraucanas or araucanas, help

I just recieved my order of Ameraucana bantams(that's what the hatchery sold them as) I hear that these are really EE's and that EE's are really muts. So my question is, if I hatch their eggs can I sell them as Ameraucanas or will they be like hybrid chickens that don't breed true? thanks alot, this is urgent because I won't have internet acces for long.

just call them Easter Eggers... easter eggers can breed true if you want them. but the funn on easter eggers is not knowing what to expect
 
They are EEs and if you hatch from them they should be sold as EEs. Yes EEs can vary but if the parents look similar to each other so should the chicks. There is nothing wrong with EEs. I have owned a lot of EEs and they are great birds that lay beautiful eggs. Of course that is coming from a person that is a mutt as well so consider the source.

Sell them as Easter Eggers.

Unless yours will indeed breed true to a recognized Ameraucana color (look up the breeders club and see the photos, they should match the color almost exactly) and unless ALL your birds have either blue, black, or pinkish blue colored legs with white or pink colored soles, and unless ALL your birds have full beard/muffs and lay blue or blue-green eggs. . . . They're not real Ameraucanas, and won't breed true unless you have a pair that have matching (genetic) colors.

It is bad enough that hatcheries sell under false claim, even worse that breeders get from them and continue doing so, knowing or not bothering to know the differences which are easily accessible online.

Now, not meaning to be jumpy about it, just sayin

ETA - as said though, nothing wrong with EE's, they're just not the same and shouldn't be sold as the same.

They are not likely Ameracaunas but without seeing them can't say for sure. Most hatcheries do not carry real Ameracaunas or Aracunas. What they carry has recently been dubbed EE and they lay some very pretty blue eggs. I have wheaten and blue wheaten ameracuanas which are both recognized breeds and also lavender which are not yet reconigzed. I also have some EE and frankly some of their eggs are just as pretty blue as the pure Ameracaunas.

The EE eggers sometimes lay more of a green tinted blue egg. If you breed the birds you will get blue egg layers that look very simliar to your roo and hen but they won't conform to any standard.

You should not represent them as Ameracuana but rather as EE, they have a market as well.

Heck even None standard colored Ameraucanas(from the breeding of two standard colors) are called Easter Eggers...

Well, that there is some murky waters. You can find people debating the whole "purebred or conforms to standard but isn't recognized color" for DAYS.

But truth is, Lavenders, Splashes, and several other project colors are being accepted by the breeders club (not as in APA accepted, but, accepted to call an Ameraucana) so I think most people would agree on a general rule as to the parents being purebred and the bird having the right leg color, skin color, egg color, and beard/muffs making it okay. Also if the color breeds true, recognized or not, except for ones who never will such as Splash/Blue.
 
Yes. Technically any "Ameraucana" from a hatchery will very very likely be an EE, but yes, crossing an Ameraucana to any other breed makes an EE.
