I have been getting 1-2 broken eggs each day. There isn't a shell, but the other eggs are smeared in yolk. I've been collecting a few times a day thinking maybe they are getting broken during the "nest box fight". Yesterday when I went down I caught a RIR with yolk all over her beak and she ran away from me with the shell. Do I get rid of her immediately? When she ran through the yard, the others became interested in what "treat" she was running with. I got it from her before anyone else did. Suggestions? Roll-aways are not an option.
