Gold Laced Orpington Project

Golden Laced Buff Orpingtons Please! I'm looking to purchase days old Golden Laced Orpingtons, pullets. Any help would be appreciated.
This thread is for the discussion of the Gold Laced Orpington project only.

Posting of photos for comparison is acceptable.

It is my understanding several are working on their own Gold laced Orpington projects. There are also some Imported English Gold laced Orpingtons now here. The goal of this thread is to breed to the American Standard, but discussion about the color pattern and breeding issues of Gold Laced anything will be helpful.

History of your breeding project will also help others.

Photo above is a Gold Laced Orpington produced by Corancher and hatched at Hall Family Poultry of Monticello, Arkansas.

Sadly, he was the only survivor of shipped eggs.

We are mating him this season to two Single Comb Gold Laced Wyandotte hens of good size and type. Here are the hens.

For comparison, here is artist Diane Jackey's idea of Orpington type.

I'm looking to purchase pullet chicks GLOs.
I have to be quick, but will offer more up later- I've been working on this with my own Orp stock, not wanting to outcross into any other breeds. I have been sorely tempted to get some of Marc's birds, because that would be a quick and easy way to make improvements quickly, but I am trying to get an American shape, so I hesitate.

Here is a shot I took of his while visiting.

My roos are showing great lacing, but it's still quite incomplete in this generation of hens...still waiting on the latest chicks to show their colors.

I need to get some more current pics.
