Got more work done with the coop this weekend! I finally got it completely painted! Yes I painted my coop on Easter Sunday, I just coudn't wait to see how it would look. And my DH got all the doors put on the runs, just forgot to take a pic of them roll.png

Today I moved my chicks into the coop yesss.gif Still need to do a few final touches to the inside but they had to get out of the house! Hopefully we will get the runs done this afternoon and put in the pop doors and make the final perches. But they look so good in the new coop had to share.

Feeding area, eventually this will be moved out to the run.

And I got a pic of the front of the runs with the nice doors my DH made, so much better than my old runs door!

Looks great!  thumbsup.gif  I really love this style and set up of breeding pens with the runs of them.  They look so easy to maintain.  Good job on the paint and the structure, looks well made!

Finally finished!! I love my new condo coop, it is so much easier to get into and is so much safer for my chickens. All I need to do is get sand for the runs, but at least they can enjoy it now. Eventually I want to plant around the runs to add more shade and fruit for them eat.

Well I decided to post what we ended up doing with the old coop. We didn't want it to go to waste, it was nice too! We decided that our ducks and geese needed an upgrade too! They were in a chain link dog kennel with a dogloo for a nesting area. So this is what my sweet DH came up with for them, it is so much bigger and nicer for our guys. Now to find them a nice little pool, the one from last year had a few holes in it roll.png
