Are you calling my husband stupid? I really dont appreciate that. He is in the Army for 16 years and a true professional.

I think he's more trying to say war is not a smart idea.  I don't think he's trying to attack military personnel.

An example of oxymoron is "definite maybe."

He wasn't aiming it at the individual military personnel.  Much like how on the news they might bomb a place and say they had military intelligence stating that some important person was there, yet after it was bombed the important person would not be found there.

This thread is about Oxymorons. That particular oxymoron was not directed at your husband, or anyone else. Simply, some may see, "military intelligence," as an oxymoron. Definition of an oxymoron is stated above in halo's post.
