I do like those african geese too. They are so perfect looking, even down to their black beak.

I like to go to a local auction close to home and try to rescue some ducks from certain death.... I have a total of 4 ducks right now that came from auction. Buddy is the only one right now that was born here at our home. I do have 28 eggs in my bator right now though... They are due to hatch Mar. 9th... So I will keep you posted onhow they are comming along..

Here is my gosling assortment from Ideal: Embden, Tufted Roman and one Chinese. I think all the Embdens are males, so I placed another order for next week! My addiction has reared its ugly head! love.gifgoslings0211

Great pictures PAchickenlover   thumbsup.gif    and you are awesome for going and rescuing ducks from certain death at the auction. I hate it when  got to the auction and their are tons of beautiful chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits and their is this one man he never misses an auction and he buys $100-$500 of birds throws them in a burlap sack puts them in his van and leaves. he buys the most beautiful birds even the show quality ones and takes them to his farm lets them go then you can go pick the one you want and he will butcher it right theirhit.gif

North texaschick those are beautiful goslings!!!  what breed did you order the second time? Embden?   thumbsup.gif
