How cute!!! LOVE the pic of them diving, lol. Our local TS has Pekin ducks right now, I'm trying to talk my DH into buying a few, hehe.

 

SAHM of 3, wife to 1 hard working hubby, 4 RIR hens, 2 BR hens, 1 NHR roo, 4 BO hens, 1 BSL hen, 2 Ameraucana hens, 1 Game/Buff rooster, 5 LBs, always have chickies and have lost count lol, 1 Blue Swedish duck, 4 Pygmies and 2 Great Pyrs with pups on the way! Life is good.

Thoes are beautiful pictures, and you have a great looking coop! I like the one of them diving lol, I love Pekins, I had two but had to get rid of them cause they ate so much food.

We picked up 5 more ducklings this morning. This time we went to a different TSC and again they had 1 black duckling in the mix. We were the first to purchase from this group that they just got in this morning. Well since we bought the black duckling from the other TSC two weeks a go we decided to get this one also so we would have a pair. We still arn't 100% sure what they are. We were guessing Cayuga on the other black duckling we have but now that this TSC also has one in the mix I'm thinking Black duck, aka Black Mallard but I cant seem to find much info online about them. So here is a pics of the newbies.

Heres an update on Miss. Lilly and Daisy. My two ducklings who are turning into adult ducks in front of my eyes! hmm.png Its cool to see the colors their filling out to be. Can anyone guess breed/ gender now? (I know the gender is still probably far off but....)

 

 

 

They didnt really want their pictures taken but the big hens did! big_smile.png
