Wow its been 4 days since any pics have been posted on here so I figured I would revive this post :)

 

Here are some pics I took today. Po is 10 weeks old and looks to be molting already, she is shedding feathers like crazy and some new thicker off whitish ones are coming in.

Shifu the jumbo pekin/rouen mix is now 3 weeks old and is totally enjoying being outside. Now if she would only get a little more sociable with the other ducks we would be golden. For now she is terrified of them and they kinda stear clear of her as well. Oh and her feathers are coming in under her down and it looks like she may end up being mostly black with a white underbelly.

And here is a pic of Jet, he was the all black mallard from TSC. He is now 9 weeks old, starting to get his drake feather , and has learned to fly momentarily. He is really close with Po and Chip our other 9 week old mallard who is a female. I dont think he can decide who he wants to walk next to lol. He is alot bigger than our other mallards , I'm guessing its because he's a boy?

That would be cool! Here he is as a day old duckling from TSC.  So really he could be either, I guess we just wait and see how big he gets.

He doesn't look like a mallard duckling but sure is pretty.
