I have heard people talking about 'dry hatching' method, could someone explain it to me please?

Thanks

Still every so slightly confused, so its not adding water to hatch including lockdown? I think I had issues with too much humidity in my first incubator hatch so am looking to improve next time!

I'm in the same position! I had 9 eggs with movement going into lockdown, only 3 hatched. I opened the other eggs & there were fully developed chicks in them! Broke my heart!  hit.gif I've got more eggs that I'm probably setting next wednesday. I'm planning on doing the dry incubation method this time. Hopefully I have better luck!

I seem to have got a lot of wobbly legs, and 9 didn't hatch out of 42 that were viable at lockdown... Really want to work out what went wrong so I am not killing poor chicks!
