I'm treating my hen with a mite investation with DE soil & bathing her. Since mites can cause health issues, I think that it's drained her of energy as mites feed on her blood. She's lost weight and seems weak.
My question is: Has anyone given they're chicken (s) coconut water as an electrolyte? I personally drink coconut water due to the nutrients it possesses. Per my google search people have also given coco-water to they're puppy/dog, I couldn't find anything for a chicken.
