Congrats! I just picked up my 2 day old Silkie chicks yesterday. I also picked up 4 Delaware chicks with them. So far they get along great and I'm hoping it stays that way. Mine are black and ?. Somebody said splash on my picture thread.

No official names yet...my son calls them all nugget...lol

If you intend on naming them here are the name of my girls. I'm naming my new chicks Sugar, Spice, and Saltine [Had a hen named Salt I also have one named Pepper, salt died so...] My others are named Salt, [Died] Pepper, Meggy, Roxane, Clue, and of course Resa my buff.big_smile.png

Ok, we came up with a few names: the 2 red ones are Bolina and Gingerly, one blue is Poka, the 2 buff are Betty and Chulula, one black is Nugget...so that leaves one black and one blue without names yet

I just ordered 8 Silkies from Ideal tonight. DD was really wants some and I just couldn't resist lol. I have 18 chicks coming from Meyer also.
