got him as a chick. gave him to a friend. I dnt think its a california white. me and her are trying to figure out a breed. 

 

he has a yellow beak and yellow legs. Red earlobes. White rock or Rhode Island White??

 

 

What is he?? is he a california white? and if hes pure breed and not a CW....is he show worthy??

 

PS....Just Rememberd they had a Bin of Rhode Island Whites there too. Could he be a Rhode Island white??

White Rock, maybe?

White Silkies, Golden Laced Polish, Black Sex-Links, Partridge Rock, New Hampshire, Buff Orpington Bantams, A Bunch Of Mutt Chickens, and Welsummer, Ameraucana, Salmon Faverolles coming soon.

Three Dogs, Three Cats, Three Lizards, Two Horses, Two Hamsters, Two Betta Fish, and One Rabbit.

yes, white rock

I have six lovable hens: Luna (6 year old red star), Buckbeak and Asha (young black star sisters), Sage (my lone surviving white leghorn), Bedazzle (my grey/splash EE) and Pepper (my silver laced wyandotte)!

I also have a dog and a hedgehog :)

R.I.P Ava, Sprite, and Hedwig (Sage's siblings) Redtail, and Apolla.

THERE WERE ALSO RHODE ISLAND WHITES IN THE BEN OF CALIFORNIA WHITES

 

COULD HE BE A RHODE ISLAND WHITE???

No. SoP for rhode island white is rosecomb. If that's what he is, he's an automatic DQ.

 

White rock roos can be GIGANTIC - if you look at the partridge rock thread, there is talk of them being TOO big to represent the breed well.

 

I would post his pic in the partridge rock thread and see what the pros think. They'll let you know if he's a WPR and/or showable.

ok good to know.im thinking about taking him to the fair this year. i need to weigh him and make sure hes not to big. its an APA show

I don't think he's a RIW because they only come in rose combs. He's more than likely a White Rock, and a very handsome one at that.

Don't know on the banty but the game roos are not Aseels--asils (SP)

silkies and (projects), sumatras, lakenvelders, frizzles, polish and (projects), sultans, buff orps, black sexlinks, turkeys, red golden pheasents, Peepers, dogs, cats, fish, horses, wild kids, and one very understanding DH, come on over for a visit to the crazy farm

he holds his tail too erect for either, although he probably is a white rock his shape isn't very accurate. that is not to say he isn't a pretty bird.
