HELP!! Twin embryos in a Blue Silkie egg - Page 9

     I once had a hen with 11 eggs under her hatch out 12 healthy chicks. I would not have knowingly set a double yolk egg. I noticed 1 egg was a little longer than normal, but not enough to be a double. I was obviously wrong but all 12 chicks were healthy.

Wow! I'm impressed. I had 2 really large Legg'ern RIR mix eggs in my 'bator. On candling one proved to be sterile. Haven't candled the other yet.

There's a subscribe button top and bottom of the thread. It saves bumping this up to the top of the pile.

Friesians, Sebrights, Barnevelders, Araucanas, Cream Legbars, Dutch Bantams, Vorwerks, an Appenzeller Spitzhauben, a Sabelpoot and a few crosses .
