For Sale:
Giant Blue Cochins

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Up for auction is 8+ extras if available of my Giant Blue Cochin eggs. These are friendly, docile birds that easily adapt to confinement or free range. They are heavy birds that do not fly well, so they can be kept behind a shorter fence. They are quite hardy in cold climates and the hens lay well during winter. The hens also occasionally go broody and make excellent mothers. They are beautiful birds and a favorite in my yard. Who can resist those heavily feathered feet and legs? They look like they glide across the ground instead of walking. These are big birds, in one of my pictures the blue Cochin roo is beside a black Jersey Giant roo so you can compare size. Adult size Cock 11 lbs. and Hen 8.5 lbs.

I have been hatching these eggs for months here and the fertility is excellent. I pack the eggs very well and have had much success in shipping eggs that hatch well. However, there are many things that can happen during shipping that can damage the eggs. I do not give refunds. Please note that you should let your eggs rest for a minimum of 12 hours once you receive them before placing them in your incubator. Also, you should have your incubator running and the temperature regulated for several days before your eggs are due to arrive. If you have a problem when your eggs arrive, please contact me. I am easy to work with and I want you to be as happy with these beautiful birds as I am.

Thank you for looking at my auction, happy hatching!

Shipping to the continental USA only - $15.00

Auction to start at 11:00pm Sat, 2/11 and ending Sun, 2/12 at 10:00pm Eastern time.

Not sure why the pics are showing up so small.  I will try adding them here to see if they will show larger.
