Hi budgerigarists / budgerigar breeders,

                                                            Photoes of my budgerigars I kept in 1990s.

 

I had corrected the ID of  yellow-faced blue budgies, after studied my budgies and from budgies  via my computer.

Above.  Start from left on the perch:

 

Single factor yellow-faced skyblue type 2nd opaline spangle, female.

Double factor yellow-faced type 2nd opaline, female.

Single factor yellow-faced skyblue type 2nd normal spangle, male.

Single factor Yellow-faced skyblue type 1st normal, male.

Double factor yellow-faced type 2nd cobalt opaline spangle, male.

Single factor yellow-faced skyblue type 2nd opaline spangle, male.

Yellow-faced type 2nd cobalt opaline spangle, juvenile male.

Single factor yellow-faced type mauve opaline , male.

Double factor yellow-faced type 2nd cobalt opaline spangle, male.

Double factor yellow-faced type 2nd skyblue opaline, female.

Cobalt opaline spangle, male.

 Double factor yellow-faced type 2nd blue budgies have almost pure blue body while single factor yellow-faced type 2nd blue budgies had bluish-green breasts & rumps. Double factor violet-cobalt budgie have darker rich purple body.

Double factor yellow-faced type 1st blue normal budgies cannot be told from skyblue normal budgies, by appearance. Single factor violet-cobalt budgies have paler purple body.

Thanks I would love a spangled opaline is why I know it's the only mutation I don't have!!

                            Hey Russian, We are on planet "Earth" and our planet is 4 billion year-old.

 

If you wants budgerigar (melopsittacus undulatus) you have to come to our planet Earth (joke) lau.gif

 

Spangled opaline is a domesticed mutation of budgerigars.

 

Wild budgerigars are green bodied birds.
