Chicken with hurt leg

I just discovered my 23 week old dark brahma hen will not put any weight on her left leg. It does look like she broke off a nail completely. It isn't bleeding and her toe looks OK. Is there anything I can do to help her? She is my baby and I am worried sick.
That is pretty normal to limp after breaking a toenail. Just look for any joint swelling in case she sprained herself. You can put a little betadine or Vetericyn on it, but she may limp for a couple of weeks. In my hen who tore one off on a chainlink fence, she never grew the toenail back, and it healed up, but she did act link it was sore.

I have a chicken who won't put weight on one leg. She's about 12 weeks. Largest of the bunch. Vet says that a chucken who has grown quickly can have a lesion in the joint. He said it's quite common wuth dual purpose birds... unfortunately his prognosis wasn't good. He said to watch for leg sticking out to the side. When this happens it may be time to put her down. I don't want to do this as she is my husband's favorite girl (cream legbat)... she was eating and drinking yesterday. Not today

my barred rock heard me come into the run and raced out of the nesting box slipped and fell to the ground.....she could not put the foot down and tucked it under her...at the first joint above the foot, the leg flops from side to side..i have her contained in a small area as to limit her movement...she eats and drinks and poops....wimpers every now and then...checked the leg , it all feels hard.....think maybe she snapped a tendon on that joint...no movement in the foot whatsoever...any suggestions

My rooster has been getting attacked by my hens, they keep biting his legs until they bleed and he doesn't do anything to stop them. We've tried all sorts of anti-peck sprays and we've isolated him for a long time, but he can't be away from the flock forever and we are running out of options. Every time we put him back in with them, even if he's fully healed, they make his legs bleed again. Any ideas?
Hi - I’m having the same issue. I know it’s been many years... did you ever find a way through?
