It could be a feather footed breed, that's my guess.  Do you know what breed you got?

Yeah, when I got bantams this weekend, I chose all feather legged ones (well, except one seabright) because of adorableness. Got silkies, a mix of cochin, and a likely d'Uccle. They will be garden bug patrol and my broody crew, so I'm thrilled.

I'm really hoping she is a she and she lays lots of eggs. My son wants at least one rooster; I can do without.:P
