How many of you have had an egg hatch on Day 24 or later?
One egg hatched on Day 22
We're halfway through Day 24.
No noise, no pips, even with the encouragement from the hatchling, which we've taken out of the incubator.
We're candled a few minutes, and saw two eggs that looked like they had air sacs at both ends, so
we opened them. One contained an inch long rotting embryo, and the other a fully developed chick with it's neck turned tightly over it's shoulder- it was dead.
