"I could've defended myself..." Windwalker grumbled. She was in pain, but she still was able to get up and walk. She extended the leg with the iron foot on it. She blinked. "You were good, Darkstripe." Windwalker pointed out.

"I rode a much more advanced horse named Lil Mitzy the other day. Although I accidentaly kicked her out of pure habit and she bolted a little, I learned from my mistakes. That day, someone else rode Starfire. I wasn't as sad as I thought I'd be, either. I learned that each horse brings out the best in me in a different way." -- Me

"As were you" Darkstripe said approvingly, flicking a stray piece of dirt off his shoulder.

 

"Go get yourself cleaned up" Shadowstar growled at Darkstripe, shooing him away.

 

Darkstripe flashed one more cocky grin and disappeared into the trees.

"Before Drake started "YOLO", did ya'll think you could live twice or...?"

Shadowstar didn't answer her, instead, made room for Blackwing who was carrying several herbs in his beak. He set them down in front of Windwalker and looked cooly at her "I am Blackwing, NightFlocks medicine bird."

 

Darkstripe headed into the main part of camp, where several warriors were lounging outside the warriors den. They looked over at Darkstripe, amusment glimmering in their eyes "So how badly did you get beat, Darkstripe?" A black hen with white flecks asked him.

 

Darkstripe snorted good naturedly at the hen "So what makes you think I got beat, Snowbird?"

 

"Oh I dunno" She shrugged with a grin "Just a hunch"

 

"Why you little..." He hardly got a chance to finish his sentance before he lauched himself playfully at Snowbird. The pair rolled over a few times before a deep, booming voice interuptted them.

 

"Darkstripe, I want to see you in my den. Now" Shadowstar growled.

 

Snowbird and Darkstripe broke apart "You didn't..." Snowbird said slowly, her eyes widened slightly "Not again Darkstripe!"

 

Darkstripe grinned again "Sorry, just I just can't seem to help my incredible talent."

 

At that, Snowbird got to her feet and shook her head at him, muttering "A**hole" under her breath.

 

"See you later" He winked, following Shadowstar into his den.
