I would also change the 10x10 to a 8x12 or 12x12 for material purposes. Plywood comes in 8 ft sheets. Much less cutting this way!

My daughters and I built my 8 X 12 coop a few years ago, and it cost me about $500.  It's always better to err on the side of building larger rather than smaller! Chickens have a way of becoming addictive!!
