I Set 12 eggs on the 10th, about 35 today!! Who wants to hatch with me???

 

THIS IS FOR ANYONE HATCHING ANY MONTH!! EVERYONES WELCOME!!!

 

 

I made this. srry pics are kinda small. but it shows the growth from day one to 17. WHERE IT SAYS BLOOD VEIN-ITS SUPPOSE TO SAY BLOOD RING

I just set 8 Golden Laced Wyandotte cochins and 2 mystery eggs today (2/15). I can't wait already for day 21....It's going to be a looooong wait!!!!!!!

i know how u feel. 

i have about 50 sumthing eggs lol. i havent counted them all. 

7 Aseel eggs (sp)

and about 42 barnyard mixed

no, not yet. I just set them in the incubator tonight! Have U?How often do you candle them? I am a candleholic. I usually candle hem everyday after day 3. Sometime I take a sneak preview on day two. I know...I have no patience....

just got a call from another friend...a dog killed his flock this morning and he gathered up all the eggs he could find. hes bring me 6 eggs tomorrow. im ganna put them in the bator. i hate staggerd hatches. but ill find a way to make it work. i have another bator but the heating element and fan went out. im going to try to fix it.

i candled the first 4 days of the first i put in. todays day 5 for thos. i candled thos only cuz i always candle before putting eggs in the bator. and the temp went way up to 110 degrees and i wanted to make sure they didnt die. soo out of the first 12, 9 are good. i havent candled any i put in today because there was just too many. i usually candle at day 10 and 18. i dnt candle everyday because my very first hatch i did that and had a very very bad hatch lol

I don't think candling hurts the eggs ( as long as it is done fast and you don't drop the egg ...lol). I always over candle mine and somethimes I have good hatches and sometimes I don't. 

I am sorry to hear about your friend's hens..That's sooooo sad!
