Tossed 3 eggs last night. Some look unfertile while others are really behind at growing. my temps been at 100 degrees but i think with so many eggs in one bator not all got the proper heat. i rotated them so the ones that arent developed as far as the others are closer to the heat. I think the unfertile looking ones just didnt get enough heat and may still grow. As for  mt two dove eggs there doing great

I ran out this morning thinking that Diamond had hatched out her youngin's but nope. there were some pips but no zip or chicks yet! So hopefully in the morning, apparently Diamond and I aren't using the same calendar! LOL but they say Momma knows best!  So Grandma will just let Momma do her own thing!  But I got to admit its HARD and she needs to hurry this up for me!! pop.gifduc.gif he.gif.

my mom didnt like the chickens at 1st but she is now obsessed with hatching them and wants me to order her some silkie eggs (i knew i would get her to like the chickens eventually)yesss.gifyippiechickie.gif

frow.gifeveryone. My eggs hatched and I must say I did not have a good hatch rate at all. I really need to fix this for the next set that's going in the incubator in 5 days. But here are my 2 ducklings that did hatch.

Cute, cute, cute.  I particularily love the first one.  Dang, makes me want ducks and I've had them and geese in the past.  I've had many a duckling swimming in my bathtub munching on the grass I floated on the water surface for them.

 

I'm glad I only use the shower stall now, maybe I can turn the tub over to ducklings!
