hopfully it isnt twins. most times thos eggs dnt make it. If it is u may need to help them hatch when the time comes. Keep posted on how they doo



i will help all my chicks hatch if there are any problems but it is uknow if the big egg has twin yet

Hi new here just found this thread.I set  14 duck eggs on the 2nd and 19 mystery chicken eggs on the 10th.6 turkey eggs on the 10th also.I'm using 2 Brinsea and a Havator. I didn't candle yet.not sure what I'm looking for.My eggs all came from BYC members.Everyone here is super.

i can post pics of the eggs when candled if u want so u can see what to look for if u want

Heres pics of an egg from day 1- day 5.

It is a White egg

I used a high power light and a very dark room

darker eggs u wont be able to see veins as easy

i can't wait untill the 8 through all my eggs been through to see them hatch will make me have tears of joy

i know how u feel. My incubator got up to 115 degrees the other night. then the fan went out. i had to move them to a differnt incubator. a styro one.

 

There all doig fine except for a few.

 

cant wait for them to hatch

 

IDK what im ganna do with 50 chicks tho lol

most are barnyard mix. Some are some kind of game bird. and some are black jersey giants. and some are turken mixes
