When mine were hatching last weeek, I kept my ear stuck to the top of the bator trying to hear what was going on.  Of course, it wasn't as crucial as yours  smile.png

Tracy chick I hope all goes well and you have a good hatch. That being said,  I need to clarify something, to all who think just because someone might have a different opinion then everyone else doesn't make them MEAN and judgemental, accusing someone of being mean for a opinion is mean, it wasn't to accuse or bring anyone down from their excitement. hens don't have to turn eggs all day long she mite trun them when you are not looking so you really can't say

No, the air cell looked bad and the eggs looked kind of stuck to the shell.  You should see this feed bucket she choose to go broody in, it is tiny.  But I took them away based on how the eggs looked -- and I put eggs in the bator at the same time so I knew the difference.  My point was a lot of people are experimenting with their eggs and I was just putting myself out there as an example of you just don't know until you try!!!!

Hi all, still no news:rolleyes: When ive looked into the 4 channels i put the water in ive noticed there only half full! There going to be dry by day 22, should i open it tomorrow and put more water in? Waited till 1.00am this morning and got too tired so had to go bed, i bet they try and hatch while im asleep! Sods law...wholewheatchick i stuck my ear right in that incubater nearly and still couldnt hear anything lol..
