What day is the Lucasville swap? And what can I expect?

Love my orpingtons!

My orp flock: Blitz, Flare, Honey, Loretta and of course a few misplaced cuckoo marans.

I'm a hatchaholic!

We went to Lucasville last year and we were real disappointed. Too many dogs, too much just plain old garbage, too much rain! The birds yo really have to watch or you get sick ones, best to buy from the 4-h people set up there.

Im sure the rain is why there really wasnt anything there. I have never been to the swap days but know people who have and have always had good things to say. The show days in Lucasville is also a good time to look for quality birds.

The only swap that I am aware of in Frankfort isnt until April 7th. Its held by the Bluegrass Poultry Association.

Everywhere I look on-line says that its the 4th Saturday of the month and it has always started in March.  So....tomorrow is the 4th Saturday.  I hope someone is there with some birds!

The show is April 7, I believe.  I'm hoping that there is still a 4th Saturday swap!

Overrun with peafowl, chickens, guineas, pygmy goats, dogs, cats, birds!
