Congrats to all. No takers on my contest, it's the 18th, so it's over. Good luck raising them up or finding homes. Good times, good times. big_smile.png

I'm beginning to think nothing will happen in my hatcher. Still no peep or pip sad.png Nine eggs and not one is giving me any sign of hatching. My last hatch, two weeks ago, I had a 75% hatch rate. They are growing so quickly and are healthy little fluff butts. Now if only I can get a couple to hatch from this batch in the bator now.

I also have thirteen eggs in another bator that made it to day ten. So maybe I'll have better luck with them.

And so it begins... the Comptons great adventure into the world of chickens.

What I thought was goin gto be a bit of a dissappointment in my hatch success has turned out great.

Had three hatch out yesterday and I thought that was all I was going to get.

Woke up this morning and two more hatched and another pipped.

Only one left to go!.

Will post some pictures later today.

I've got 5 chicks in the brooder and there are several more still pipping/zipping.  I've had them hatch everywhere from Day 18 to Day 26 in other hatches, so I always wait a week before deciding they aren't going to hatch.

Congratz to everyone who has babies!!!
