Candled 24 and tossed one that was about to become a bomb; the rest are in the hatcher.  I have marked, in large letters, on the top of the styro:  DO NOT OPEN LID!!!!

 

It will be my mantra for the next few days:  DO NOT OPEN LID!!!!

 

(Say it again!)  DO NOT OPEN LID!!!!

 

(Sing with me!)  DO NOT OPEN LID!!!!

I got two overachievers this morning. They had pipped last night then humidity dropped and they were stuck in the shell. I rinsed them with warm water, freed them from their prison shells.... ha ha ha... gig.gifand left them in the brooder. Hope to see them sitting up when I get home. love.gif

I thought we were talking green cuz of ST Patty's Day... duh

i have to confess that none of my eggs are green hu.gif

 

But we have come this far and your not getting rid of me now!!!!!!

I only have 3 green eggs, and it was by chance, so I think you're okay. I've got 11 out now, apparently, these chicks aren't waiting for 3/17. Must be German, not Irish birds.... us Germans like to arrive early, get a good seat and first crack at the chow...
