The chicks are starting to feather out with real feathers. The existing feathers fall out as the new feathers emerge. This can cause a few bare spots on chicks. It is normal.

No problems!  Wait until they're in full-blown "pre-teen" stage.........

The wings are getting bigger.  The dandelion fluff is falling out, and those two things combine to make for some bald spots (they get them on the middle of the chest two when the first couple of side runs come in.)  Wait until that row of feathers is about two days in - it won't be long enough to bend and cover so the feathers will angle out into the air.  Relax, grab a drink, and laugh at them.  This is the last of the cute and the first of about four weeks of chuggly before they emerge out the other side looking like miniature chickens.
