CHICKEN NIPPLES HELP

I am thinking of making a gravity watering system with nipples. My question is.....will my chickens know how to use the nipples? they have always been watered on the ground but I am trying to make more room for them in their coop. They are older birds (chicks -2 year olds) and they have never seen a chicken nipple in their life.......Any information would be AWESOME.

Your birds will figure it out in no time. If you use nipples with cups under the nipples fill them up yourself and they will catch on. Then you will never have to clean another dirty water dish again.
