Dan, poor fellow, had to come up with an idea for all the dead chickens:  Then he started making fly fishing lures from the roostsers fancy feathers and sold them all to tourists.

One bantam rooster was still alive and limped over to Dan, clucking pitifully. He was a beautiful shiny green and a brilliant buff color with a bright red comb.

when dan got in the house he made the rooster a nice soft bed and put out some fresh water and feed for him.

The rooster clucked in contentment, fell asleep and Dan thought, "He needs a hen-friend!"

Why, what a lovely trio I have, Dan thought, as he finally took a seat on the porch, and happily watched the trio pecking at grasshoppers in his overgrown garden.
