Button Quail Chicks

I just got a pair of buttons and really want to hatch some eggs but I can't keep the chicks for long after I hatch them. I'm looking for someone who would take them for free and give them a good home. I have one pair so I only get about 6 eggs a week but I can hatch 2 batches of eggs if you want more chicks. Please PM me if you are interested!

We are looking for Australorps especially a Roo!  Anybody in Northern Indiana have Australorps? Also any N. IN Quail breeders?

 

We love Jesus here!

 

We like 'em chickens at our house! We also have New Zealand and Mini Rex rabbits and a calico cat. We homeschool, too! 

This year, we are trying out Market Gardening.  ~Want to talk, feel free to drop a line!

I am going to the chickenstock and i'll be bringing them so look for me there! Please tell me how many you want, too so I know how many eggs to hatch!

I think 6 would be plenty for me. How do you house yours? I have raised bobwhites before but am new to these.

So 3 pairs or 2 trios? Every cage should have solid flooring, fake plants, and maybe a little hut (cardboard box with opening). Also, you should only have one pair or trio to a cage unless the cage is huge because they will fight violently. They do best in pairs but trios work. Are you housing them inside or outside?
