Stay out of the freshwater moat and you won't have to find out.:idunno.

Ah!  I know!  I'll build a freestanding wooden rack to hold these.....

It will be placed at the entrance to the swimming area at the freshwater moat, with a sign that reads -

 

"Return Chain Mail Cups here as you exit."
