seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

A very handsome mutt. Probably cross of Wyandotte x some sort of squirrel tailed bird. Squirrel tails in hatchery stock is common in certain breeds.

then again, yours does appear to have more lacing and a heavier build, so I am going to say SLW mix too.

kind of like a Marsh daisy roo i have seen, or a hamburg. but the slw x sounds good

I currently have five chickens, a bantam partridge wyandotte, buckeye, Goldlaced wyandotte, Delaware, and a buff orpington cross. My banty recently hatched 3 chicks a whos moms were a rsl, bo, and a aruacana and all share the same father a cuckoo maran. And 26 broiler chicks.
