I got this chick free with a large order of meat chicks. The packing slip listed it as "Exotic"....

After ordering from McMurray Hatchery, I receivefd my 125 meat chicks, and with it was 1 free "Exotic".

Well I cannot figure out what he is.  He is now going on 7months old and my kids would love to show him.

 

He is mostly white and has red coming out on both wings, and a darkening around his neck.  A few black spots in his tail.  He is clean legged.

 

I have attached 3 photos, 2 profile pics and one of Little Foot with my Daughter to show a size comparison for you guys.

 

Any Ideas?

Not sure how a red sex link qualifies as exotic, but that's what ya got!

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

Thanks, I have been trying to find pictures of the roosters online.  All I can find are hens.  Is it common for them to be white?

The males of the Red Sexlink hybrid are white with red leakage in the shoulder area, like your boy.
