Appears to be but it's kind of hard to tell in that photo

Hello I am new to trying to hatch some chicks. I noticed my rooster finally treated my EE and I was wondering if there might be a chance of her offspring carrying her blue gene? She lays beautiful green eggs. The rooster is part EE or Ameracuana Cochin. The lady I bought them from said Ameracuana but others on here have said EE. His sisters all lay brown eggs, even the hen with a pea comb. Probably a stupid question but hey, I don't know! I'll probably still attempt it and see but thought i would ask others! [IMG]

I have 3 Easter Eggers in my new batch of chickens. They are just now 5 months old. When do they start laying? Given it's Feb. right now so even my full grown ladies aren't laying much right now.

I am waiting impatiently for some green/blue eggs, lol. :)

Here's two of them with a Speckled Sussex in-between.

4 cats, 1 dog, 14 chickens (2 Red Sex links, 2 California Greys, 3 EE's, 1 SL Wynadote, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Delaware, 1 NH Red, 1 Black Star, 1 Silver Leghorn roo and 1 bantam Partridge Cochin roo.)
