trouble hatching black star mixed chicks?

Any one have trouble hatching a pure bred black star mix with a another breed? I had 3 fertile eggs mixed with a aracana (green layer) roster all made it to almost the last day one went rotten (almost fully formed), another never hatched, only one hatched. I was wondering if this is a common problem with this breed being mixed?

A black star isn't a breed - it is a mutt that does not breed true.  The difficulties you may be facing have nothing to do with a "breed" - I would look into incubation methods instead.

i dont think it has much to do with the incubator because all the other fertile eggs hatched.
