Do people in southern states like pizza?

My father owns a pizza restaurant here in Connecticut (Greek style pizza).  Less then 10 years my dad will retire and I would like to start my pizza restaurant with the great Connecticut Greek style pizza in the south..  I hear the south has garbage pizza, so I was thinking about opening in North or South Carolina or Tennessee.

Would this be a good idea? Or do people from the south perfer garbage franchise pizza?

We prefer garbage.  If we can get it out of a trash can, even better.

In nature life comes only from life and that of its own kind. Man has never witnessed mindlessness bring forth intelligence. He's never seen something come from nothing.

My favorite pizza place in Chicago serves what they call a "garbage pizza".

Deep dish pan pizza with everything on it. (well, no avocado or pineapple, this isn't California after all).

Only two Columbian Wyandotte hens now, but we'll add some chicken math in the spring.

Heck yes! It's so hard to get really good pizza in the south. One of the best places burned down in Houston a few weeks back.hit.gif

Three days slow... that's the problem... three days slow.

YB Normal?

Have an awesome one here in Middle Tennessee...Planet Pizza..he started it from scratch and his pies are really good. Top notch ingredients.  Living in the south ,though , pizza really takes a back burner to our other foods. I was raised on a higher level of food than pizza. but it is good every now and then, kinda like a greasy hamburger. Still rather have some foie gras, gumbo, oysters rockefeller, etc.

I prefer to find mine in the gutter, after some Yankee has walked on it.

Why would I have a wrong opinion?  If you want fuzzy warm, buy a Snuggy.

People who say, "Do one thing and do it well." are, obviously, one dimensional.
